Vodafone Idea is going to collaborate with Hungama Digital Media Entertainment to bring some number of blockbuster movies like Scoob, Tenet and more so that users can now pay for and watch in multiple languages.



The new model of the application will allow the users to pay for premium movies, which are available in several languages of users choice. This new model will, however, only allow users to rent the newest premium movies. One time purchases are not available as of now.


What’s new in Vi Movies and TV app?

The new Vi Movies and TV app will allow the Vi customers to get access to more than 380 movies including the latest blockbusters like movies like Joker, Birds of Prey, SCOOB, Aquaman and Christopher Nolan’s Tenet, which will be available in four languages. Vi users can watch them in  English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.


The new app’s pay-per-view (PPV) plan will be an upgradation of the Vi current entertainment offerings. While users can currently watch content at no extra cost as per their recharge or post-paid plans, but the new pay per view plan will only let users pay for the content that they want to watch, in a language they want.


Renting cost in the new Vi

Movies price comes at a fixed price of 60 INR, while some recent blockbusters movies may cost Rs 120. Users can, however, only rent a film and watch it within 48 hours.


Vi users still can watch live tv and other content while they have rented a movie. As Vi offers contents in 13 different languages, and 300+ live TV channels along with a number of original web series and International TV Shows of all genres.
